Maritimes

On Saturday Dec. 7 at 7 pm  'Dancing Day' (Christmas Music from the 13th -21st Centuries) will be presented by Cantores Celestes Maritimes and the Saint John Men's Chorus under the direction of artistic director, Kelly Galbraith. They will be joined by the Cantores Celestes String Quartet, soprano saxophonist Ross Mouland, percussionist Scott Dincorn, and fabulous collaborative accompanists Rebecca Burrill and Dr. Kevin Langford.   

The concert will feature music gorgeous music written by di Lasso, Haydn, Monteverdi, Arnesen, Lauridsen and Elgar that will evoke serenity and peace - while contemporary choral works by Rosephanye Powell, Conrad Susa, John Rutter and Gwyn Arch will help lighten your spirit and give you joy. 

A $500 donation is being given to a local charity.

The concert will be held in the beautiful acoustics of spacious Stella Maris Church on 201 Bayside Drive. General Admission $25, Wheelchair accessible.

Tickets are available from a chorister (or at the door while they last). Our last four concerts were sold out, so we suggest you contact us early to make sure you have a seat.
