On Saturday April 27, 7pm 'Songs of Sanctuary' will be presented by Cantores Celestes Maritimes and the Saint John Men's Chorus under the direction of artistic director, Kelly Galbraith. They will be joined by the Cantores Celestes String Quartet, percussionist Andrew Mott, and fabulous collaborative accompanists Rebecca Burrill and Dr. Kevin Langford.
The concert will feature music that offers a welcome antidote to the fear and negativity that pervades our world, and that invites us to embrace the light within us all. Classical selections from Brucker, Vaughan Williams, Arnesen and Gjeilo will wrap around you like a comfortable blanket - while contemporary choral works by award winning Karl Jenkins, Paul Halley, Bill Withers and Carter Stanley will help lighten your spirit and give you joy.

A $500 donation is being given to Bee Me Kidz, a charity that offers free Saturday programs for kids in grades 1-5 (and their families!) to help them learn and grow.

The concert will be held in the beautiful acoustics of spacious Stella Maris Church on 201 Bayside Drive. General Admission $25, Wheelchair accessible.
Tickets are available from a chorister or at the door. Our last three concerts were sold out, so we suggest you contact us early to make sure you have a seat.
